It's no secret that home-owning is at its lowest level in 30 years, there are high prices to rent and buy and levels of housebuilding are still below government targets. The issue of the housing market is at the top of many people's agendas. An extensive survey of 2000 homeowners and renters has been conducted to find out what they think about the current state of housing.
Published today, by the Modern Masonry, "A Dream Home: An Exploration of Aspirations" summarises important research, conducted to understand the views of homeowners and tenants.

The Modern Masonry Alliance is a body that seeks to ensure developers and designers, customers and occupants understand the benefits of masonry solutions. It provides guidance on design of masonry and furnishes government and influencing organisations with the evidence of how masonry can contribute to a sustainable built environment. Founding association funders of MMA are Aircrete Product Association, Brick Development Association, Concrete Block Association and Mortar Industry Alliance.
