Ian was sponsored to research and develop masonry solutions for the Modern Masonry Alliance in October 2006. He had worked as a senior technical architect in London, often on site, and notably for YRM architects, Whitby Bird Façade Engineers, EPR Architects, and Hamilton Associates. Ian had worked extensively in the North East, detailing the production phases of architectural projects. In 2000, frustrated by the institutional obstacles raised against the production of more and better housing in Britain, he formed the pro-development website www.audacity.org |
